The graphics are incredibly poor youre given an airial view of some little jerky, animated characters to work with, the sort of thing we experienced in the 1980s when playing ZX Spectrum games, for those of us old enough to remember. Showdown Mode lets you incrementally fast forward almost frame by frame until you have characters in the right position so everthing is perfectly placed before you spring your plan. I have played a number of PS4 games but Desperados 3 is the worst of em yet. Once you have execute a plan using multiple characters there will be a cooldown on most of their abilities but Showdown Mode allows you to cue up your next attack ahead of time so you can use it when the time is right.
